HIT Vice President REN Nanqi meets with Wiener Neustadt delegation

On the morning of July 9th, HIT Vice President REN Nanqi met with Bernhard Müller, Mayor of Wiener Neustadt, in Austria, in Room121 of the administration building.
 
Vice President REN said in the meeting that there are student exchanges between HIT and the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien every year. Promoted by the municipal government of Wiener Neustadt, the interaction between HIT and Wiener Neustadt’s universities is increasing. REN highly praised the important contribution Mayor Müller has made to promote cooperation between both sides, and hoped both sides can continue to strengthen their cooperation especially in regards to studies in ecological environment, architecture and civil engineering. Mayor Müller expressed hopes for the plan that HIT and Wiener Neustadt co-found the Confucius Institute can be implemented as soon as possible to better publicize Chinese culture in Austria.
 
Wiener Neustadt’s delegation visited key laboratories of the School of Municipal and Environmental Engineering and had talks with school administrators.
 
Administrators of the International Cooperation Department and the International Student Center also attended the meeting.
