On July 21, Professor LU Baocong of theDepartment of Energy Technology of Aalborg University was employed as a visiting professor of HIT. The ceremony was held inroom 121 ofthe Administration Building atHIT. Assistant President XU Dianguo issued the letter of appointment to Professor LU.
Assistant President XU spoke highly about Professor LU’s academic achievements in the field of power electronics, and expressed hopes thatProfessor LU can help HIT in the aspects of disciplinary planning, personnel training and academic exchanges.Professor LU expressed his desire to continue to strengthen and expand the cooperation of the two schools and to do his best to contribute to HIT.
The ceremony was presided over by Vice President of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation PENG Yu. The director of theInstitute of Power Electronics and Power Drives, GAO Qiang,introduced Professor LU’s resume. Professor LU receivedhis bachelor degree atNational University of Singapore, and his PhD at Monash University in Australia.Upongraduation, he taught in Nanyang Technological University and severalother schools. Currently he has published 104 journal articles and 139 conference papers.
