HIT - POSTECH Joint Biomedical Engineering Meeting held

On July 25, Harbin Institute of Technology and Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) held a joint biomedical engineering bilateral meeting in Room 411 of Building 2E in the Science Park. This meeting was the third bilateral meeting held by HIT and POSTECH.

Representatives of POSTECH and HIT and students of the Summer Camp of School of Life Science and Technology attended the meeting.
    Dean of the School of Life Science and Technology, LI Yu, presided over the opening ceremony. The conference included 14 different fields, such as, cell and molecular biology, neurobiology, synthetic biology, immunology, structural biology, protein modification and degradation, the study of genome of systems biology, developmental biology, and tissue engineering, to name a few. Academician JIN Jingtai of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology and Professor HUANG Zhiwei of the School of Life Science and Technology of HIT made wonderful reports at the meeting. During the meeting, the two sides conducted extensive exchanges and discussions on basic biology, oncobiology, and biomedical engineering.
