Professor Seung-Ki Sul hired as visiting professor of HIT

On July 29th the ceremony of hiring for Professor Seung-Ki Sul from Seoul National University as a visiting professor of HIT was held in Room 121 of the Administration Building.Assistant President XU Dianguo presented the letter of appointment to Seung-Ki Sul.

Assistant President XU spoke highly of Seung-Ki Sul’sachievements in the field of motor drive and power electronics and expressed his desireto enhance communication and cooperation in the future.Seung-Ki Sul said he is honored to be a member of HIT, he feels the responsibility and will do his best in making contributions to the development of HIT.

The ceremony was hosted by, LIUJian, the Vice President of theSchool of Electrical Engineering. The Director of the Institute for Power Electronics and Power Drives, GAO Qiang, introduced Seung-Ki Sul.Seung-Ki Sul graduated from Seoul National University, he currently teaches in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He was the director of the Korean Institute of Electrical Science and Engineering, Vice President of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and has published 120 high-level papers and 280 conference papers.

Responsible persons from the HIT International Office and the School of Electrical Engineering attended the ceremony.
