Sponsored by HIT, the 2014 Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation (APCAP2014) was held atHIT from July 26-29.

Approximately 400 specialists from more than 40 universities and facilities participated in the conference. Professor WU Qun, from HIT,chaired the conference and Professor FUJiahuichairedthe technical committee. Specialists from Duke University, Kent University, National University of Singapore, Yokohama National University, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang,Nanjing University, Southeast University of Chinathe Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Antenna and Propagation Society,and the Antenna Branch of the China Institute of Electronics, all made reports atthe conference.

The conference included427 articles from 16 counties and regions, and 402 of these were included in oral and interactive presentations. Specialists at the conference discussed antennae, the transfer of electromagnetic waves, measurements, application of electromagnetic, microwave, millimeter wave and Terahertz technology throughoutthe fourkeynote speeches, 42 invited reports, one microwave dielectric seminar and many group discussions.
