The Vice General Manager of Beijing Construction Engineering Group, DING Chuanbo, and his team visited HIT on September 15th and held a meeting with administrators from HIT about cooperation between the company and university. Both sides had a deep discussion about education, jobs for students, an internship base and training employees. Vice President of HIT, DING Xuemei participated in the meeting and gave a speech.
The Beijing Construction Engineering Group is a base for HIT student internships and provides many internships for HIT students every year. More than 20 graduates of HIT are employed by Beijing Construction Engineering Group. Some of them have become very important in the company. In the meeting, DING Xuemei thanked Beijing Construction Engineering Group for supporting HIT and reviewed the development of HIT. She expressed hope that both sides can use their own advantages to facilitate cooperation between HIT and Beijing Construction Engineering Group into reality. DING Chuanbo introduced basic information about Beijing Construction Engineering Group, and expressed his wish to have more and more effective cooperation with HIT. Both sides reached an agreement about expanding their cooperation area, having a better plan for moving forward in cooperation in educating, scientific research, internship and training employees.
The meeting was hosted by the Director of the Office of Enrollment and Employment at HIT, ZANG Yongjun. Representatives from Beijing Construction Engineering Group, the Office of Enrollment and Employment at HIT, and the School of Civil Engineering participated in the meeting.
