On the morning of September 10th the HIT Education Development Foundation held a ceremony to award commemorative medals. The Amoy Wanrong Group donated 1 million yuan for the university for the scholarship, named the ‘Wanrong Prize ’,for Civil Engineering Faculty. The chairman of the executive council of the HIT Education Development Foundation, as well as the secretary of the school’s party, WANG Shuquan presented the representative of the Amoy Wanrong Group with the commemorative medals, certificate, and education contribution medals.
The chairman of the board of Amoy Wanrong Group, HE Shubin, signed the donating negotiation with the Associate Chairman of the Board of Foundation, CUI Guolan.
WANG Shuquan expressed thanks for the donation, as the representative of school. He said that the development of HIT cannot be separated from the care and support received from others in society. He also acknowledged that the foundation will certainly deal with the donation according to the rules, and expressed hopes that the local government and the Amoy Wanrong Group can continue to focus on and supported education careers, cooperate with HIT further, and make a great contribution to the development of economic society.
The relevant person in charge of Sanming City and Jinjiang City, donations unit representatives, alumni office, foundations, civil engineering faculty, college of humanities responsible person among this department attended the ceremony.
