On October 29th, an awarding ceremony organized by the HIT Education Development Foundation was held in Room 213 of the administrative building. The Harbin Bank, Nangang Branch, donated 700,000 yuan to the HIT Education Development Foundation for HIT’s future development. The Limin Energy-Saving Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd. donated 200,000 yuan to the HIT Education Development Foundation for laboratory construction for the School of Energy Science and Engineering. HIT Party Secretary WANG Shuquan awarded commemorative medals and certificates to representatives of the Harbin Bank, Nangang Branch, and the Limin Energy-Saving Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
CUI Guolan, Vice President of the HIT Alumni Union and WANG Min, Manager of the Harbin Bank, Nangang Branch, signed a donation agreement. LU Changfa, Office Director of the HIT Alumni Union announced the award.
ZHANG Qiguang, Deputy Governor of the Harbin Bank and WAN Xianjun, President of the Limin Energy-Saving Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd., respectively, introduced enterprise conditions and both agreed that the HIT Education Development Foundation has done good work and that enterprises should take social responsibility for supporting social development and education. They expressed willingness to continue supporting HIT’s development and contributing to education.
On behalf of HIT, Party Secretary WANG expressed thanks to the Harbin Bank, Nangang Branch, and the Limin Energy-Saving Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for their concerns for education. He said that HIT will make proper use of the donations to benefit more teachers and students and promote school development.
The Harbin Bank was founded in 1997 and successfully listed in the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited in 2014. It is the first listed bank in Northeast China. The Limin Energy-Saving Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in 1990 and is devoted to boiler manufacturing, and central heating supply and new energy development. It mainly produces circulating fluidized bed boilers, normal pressure hot water boilers, civilian boilers and biomass forming fuel.
Administrators from the Harbin Bank, the Limin Energy-Saving Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the HIT Financial Department, the HIT Education Development Foundation and the School of Energy Science and Engineering also attended the awarding ceremony.
