HIT journal selected as Chinese Humanities & Social Science Core Journal

On November 22nd, the Social Science Evaluation Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences published The Humanities & Social Science Core Journals in China(2014 Edition). The Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology (Social Sciences Edition) was selected as a Chinese Humanities and Social Science Core Journal.
 
The comprehensive evaluation index system, AMI, includes power of attraction, management and impact. Attraction power is the evaluation of the journal in the external environment, as a good external environment is able to attract more resources and enhance the attractiveness of readers. Management power is the power of the editor to manage authors and their published journals. Impact power is the direct performance of the strength of evaluation, which is also the ultimate embodiment of the power of attraction and management. The evaluation in 2014 selected a total of 17 top journals, 40 authoritative journals, 430 core journals and 246 extended journals. HIT’s journal has been selected as an integrated humanities and social science core journal, which consists of 187 periodicals, including 1 top journal, 4 authoritative journals, 120 core journals and 62 extended journals.
