On December 11th, Vice President REN Nanqi met with WANG Huanting, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Jeffrey Walker, chairman of the Department of Civil Engineering, both of Australia’s Monash University, in Room 121 in the Administration Building.
REN welcomed them on behalf of HIT, introduced HIT’s history, superior majors and the progress the university has made. Walker introduced basic information about Monash’s School of Engineering, especially the development of civil engineering majors. They both expressed hope for further cooperation with each other.
The international office and the related individuals from the School of Municipal and Environmental Engineering also attended the meeting.
Professors from Monash University also discussed joint undergraduate training projects with HIT.
