HIT carries out cooperation and exchanges with Suez Environnement

On January 20th, Senior Vice President of Suez Environnement (one of the top 500 enterprises), Paul-Joël Derian, and his delegation, visited HIT and conducted business and academic exchanges with experts and scholars from the State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resource and Environment. Vice President of HIT and the Director of the Lab, REN Nanqi, attended the exchange conference.

During the conference both sides discussed their achievements regarding aspects of drinking water treatment, waste water recycling and processing, waste treatment, and resource recovery. They also carried out extensive and in-depth discussions on modes of scientific research project cooperation and a full range of strategic cooperation between the group and HIT.

Suez Environnement is headquartered in France. It was founded in 1880, and has become a world famous environmental enterprise with more than 130 years history. It is also the world's second largest water service company. Suez Environnement is committed to provide consumers with advanced management programs in water affairs, waste treatment and other public utilities. Their major business includes drinking water production and distribution, sewage collection and treatment, and waste disposal and recycling. Suez Environnement operates in more than 130 countries worldwide, and the group and its subsidiaries are doing business in environmental core areas such as drinking water treatment, water services, sewage treatment and sludge treatment in China markets. To date they have managed 30 water service projects in more than 20 cities, and have designed and built over 220 water plants and sewage treatment plants.
