In 2015, Dingxiang Alumni Fund Grants, initiated by HIT’s Entrepreneurship Alumni Association and donated by HIT alumni, was established. On June 2, the granting ceremony of grants was held in the No. 222 reporting hall, culture and sports center of HIT’s second campus.
SONG Yanzhe, the secretary general of HIT Entrepreneurship Alumni Association (also called Dingxiang Association) and the deputy manager of Beijing Enterprises Zhihui Group, LI Hua, the deputy secretary general of HIT Entrepreneurship Alumni Association (also called Dingxiang Association) and the head of health management and project manager of China Unicom, CUI Guolan, the deputy chairman of HIT Alumni Union and HIT Education Development Foundation, and PENG Yuankui, the assistant president attended the activities. CUI Guolan awarded the alumni SONG Yanzhe and LI Hua the donation commemorative medals and certificates.
WU Long, the representative of the students who received grants and an undergraduate of 2014 from the School of Astronautics, said, “We appreciate what you have done for us. We will study hard to learn more professional knowledge, using our own hands to create a better life. When we achieve triumphs at work, we will also do something for HIT and the society in return, helping students finish their studies just like what the alumni have done for us. We will pass along this kind of love at HIT.”
