A Heilongjiang delegation made up of National Committee members of the CPPCC (Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region visited HIT on September 11th for research into the construction of the land-sea economic belt. This delegation was headed by the Vice-Chairman Dong JianHua and Li HaiFeng. Wu ShuQing, a member of the Standing Committee and head of the delegation, attended the event, as well as Lu Hao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC （Communist Party of China） Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, Du YuXin, Chairman of the CPPCC of Heilongjiang Province, Sun Yao, Deputy Governor of Heilongjiang, Zhao KeFei, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC of Heilongjiang Province and Wang ShuQuan, General Secretary of the CPC of HIT.
HIT was their first stop in Heilongjiang in carrying out some research on the One Belt One Road Initiative. They visited the state key laboratory of robot technology and systems, where they appreciated many robots such as the wall-climbing robot, welcoming robot, HSR patrol robot, minimally invasive surgical robot, wearable robot and dexterous robot hand and showed a strong admiration and interest in our scientific and technological achievements in robotics. The delegation also studied thoroughly our educational characteristic of servicing national defense by developing expertise in astronautics and our important contributions to China’s Aerospace Exploration.
Some members of the CPPCC, heads of relevant provincial organs and Vice President of HIT Guo Bin took part in this visit.
