The Educational, Economic and Cultural Delegation of South Korea Comes to Visit HIT

The Educational, Economic and Cultural Delegation of South Korea with 40 members came to visit Heilongjiang Province from Aug 14th to 16th at the invitation of Zhao Min who is the member of the Standing Committee of Heilongjiang Province, minister of the United Front Work Department of Heilongjiang Province and the director of the Overseas Friendship Association of Heilongjiang Province. The head of the delegation was Lee Soo Sung who is the former Prime Minister of Korea, the former chief of Seoul University of South Korea and the chairman of Ahn Jung-geun’s Memorial Building Committee. The deputy head of the delegation was Lee Gyu-seok who is the vice-minister of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Technology of South Korea. The visit to China aimed to promote the implementation of the Strategic Planning of the Heilongjiang Silk Road. During their visit, the delegation visited the School Museum and Space Museum of HIT. The president of HIT, Zhou Yu also visited with them.

The vice president of HIT, Ren NanQi and the relevant leaders of the United Front Work Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Committee and Harbin Municipal Government also participated in the above activities.
