On 10th November, the vice chancellor DING Xuemei meets her counterpart of the Russian Ural Federal University, Kruzhayev in Room121 of the Administration Building.
DING Xuemei first expressed her welcome to Kruzhayev, and reviewed the two university’s many years of communication history. She stressed that HIT has extensive friendship with Russian universities. She hopes to enhance the high-level deeply cooperation on the foundation of existing cooperation with Ural Federal University, which is the core partner of HIT at boundary area of Eurasia.
Kruzhayev says that the two universities are both members of the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities, Universities of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and Universities of BRICS, so we are supposed to take full advantage of bilateral and multilateral communication platforms to cooperate in education and scientific studies, especially in the area of energy, materials, electronics, information technology, and other preponderant disciplines. We should carry out academic communication activities, including international summer schools, high-level talent cultivation of masters and doctors students, joint scientific study, and high-level academic conferences. Kruzhayev also invited students and faculties of HIT to join the China-Russia Bilateral International Conference of Advanced Materials and Process Technology held by Ural Federal University as well as the Innovation Forum of Chinese and Russian Doctors.
Managers of the School of International Co-Education, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the School of Science attended the meeting.
During the visit, Kruzhayev paid a visit to the HIT Museum and the related laboratories of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the School of Science.
