On June 6, Harbin Institute of Technology witnesses a ceremony to celebrate the acceptance of Charles Green, a professor of Imperial College London to be a visiting professor at HIT. Xu Dianguo, vice president of HIT, delivers him the appointment letter.
Xu Dianguo speaks highly of the academic achievement that Charles Green has achieved in the area of power electronics and power systems and hopes that he will play an active role in such aspects as the two-way academic exchange, introduction of high-level talents and development planning of electrical engineering to promote HIT’s electrical engineering to rank among the world-class disciplines.
Charles Green expresses his great honor to become a visiting professor of HIT and his commitment to further promote the cooperation between Imperial College London and Harbin Institute of Technology and make a contribution to the academic exchange, personnel training, discipline construction, etc..
As a well-known international scholar in the field of electrical engineering, Charles Green is responsible for many projects in the field energy at National Natural Science Foundation Committee and the micro-network of both Sino-British and Sino-Indian cooperation project. He has published more than 200 papers and won the Best Paper Award.
