HIT Won Special Prize at the Eleventh China Graduate Electronic Design Contest

The final of the Eleventh “Huawei Cup” China Graduate Electronic Design Contest was held in Shanghai from 17, August to 20, August. Led and instructed by Hu Pengcheng, HIT team made up of graduates Wang Lijing, Chang Di and Luo Jing won Group Special Prize. Besides, another 4 HIT teams won Group Second Prize and eight teams Group Third Prize.

The contest was co-organized by the Ministry of Education Degree and Graduate Education Development Center, the National Engineering Postgraduates Education Steering Committee and the Chinese Institute Of Electronics. It was driven by demands within the industry, centering on the improvement of postgraduates’ capability of innovation and practice, and aimed to enhance the quality of postgraduates. It was designed to create school-enterprise cooperated innovation platforms and comprehensively elevate the Chinese postgraduate development level and service-providing capabilities. The preliminaries were held in seven co-hosting regions – North, Northwest, Southwest, East, South, Northeast and Central China. A total of 317 teams from 115 Chinese universities and colleges stood out through multiple selections and came to participate in the finals. HIT won “Outstanding Organization Prize” again by delivering an excellent performance in organizing the contest. HIT has received the award for three consecutive years.
