From the 20th to the 25th of October, the 2016 Robot Conference was held in Beijing. The “dexterous hand” of the HIT Robot Institution and more than 60 types of HIT Robot Group were shown in the conference, and the new production including the precise cycloidal pin wheel speed reducer, electric step-climbing wheelchair, and arhat robot became the focus. With the theme of “Create, Share, and Win Together, and Initiate the Smart Era”, the conference conducted high-level academic communication and achievement presentation’s around the major areas of robot research and the innovative development of smart society. There were near 150 known robot companies participating. On the conference, related to the smart factory, industrial robot, service robot, and special robot, the HIT Robot Group promoted seven series of production, systems and solutions including cutting-edge technology, industrial producing, special session, medical rehabilitation, career education, life service, and non-standard customization.

In the cutting-edge area of robot technology, products including the dexterous hand, Micro-nano power tester, nanometer operation robot, and the high vacuum environment/SEM compatible atomic force microscope were exhibited, in which the dexterous hand was the focus. The dexterous hand is equipped with multiple perceptive functions, is highly intelligent and integrated, and with 3 degrees of freedom, 4 joints and 5 fingers, it is equipped with many sensors and integrated communication and controls system including the joint location, joint moment, “prosthetic skin” touch, temperature, and spacing. It is one of the apery dexterous hands with the most flexibility and operability in the world. The Micro-nano power tester is a kind of sensor with ultrahigh resolution which can be used to measure the nano power and sub-nanometer displacement. It can be installed on the different micro-nano operation gears to do the micro-power test within the scope of micro-nano power and then the pickup, migration, and stretch operation on the micro-nano objects. Compared with the traditional robots, the nanometer operation robots, the only sensor with displacement feedback in the world, can complete the various observations, representations, and operations under an iota in dimension. The high vacuum environment/SEM compatible atomic force microscope is able to do atomic force microscope imaging and quantitative measurement on nanometer power in high vacuum or SEM electron microscope.

In the area of industrial robots, the HIT Robot Group promotes the precise cycloidal pin gear speed reducer, six joint industrial robot, four-axis robot palletizer, C5 spray painting robot, and a series of AGV production. The C.5 spray painting robot is mainly applied to the automatic coating and producing of the doors, windows, and panel furniture. By the use of reliable and optimal testing, it can measure the size and shape, regulate the spray track, and avoid resource waste. The series of AGV production has beautiful appearance for the spraying plastics on the body, and is equipped with functions including materials handling, skip car transportation, and raise and fall, butt and joint. It is adapted to integration management in order to realize the automatic control of logistics; meanwhile, it can work for almost 24 hours with the full load.

In the area of the medical health, the Harbin Tianyu Rehabilitation Medical Robot Co. ltd. independently researches spine rehabilitation robots, the multi-joint traction rehabilitation robot system, and the smart cervical traction robot system, which can fill in the blank in the domestic market. In the area of “non-standard” customized producing line, the peach blossom digitalized factory presented as the sand table can realize the automization and digitalization of the whole process of melting the gum, boiling the cream, producing the gum and weighing, storing in the refrigerator, demoulding, chopping the gum, and packaging.
