Three Teachers in Our University won the Competition of Engineering Application Technology for Teachers in Universities

Recently, in the final of the second competition of engineering application technology for teachers in universities, three teachers of electrical and electronic experiment teaching center of HIT stood out from 386 teams of 106 universities and colleges and won a first prize. Li Yan won the first prize for IOT technology contest. Wang Meng won the first prize for new energy generation technology contest. Lian Yuxin won the first prize for electronic technology innovative design and application contest. Particularly good was that HIT won the best organization award. Li Yan, on behalf of all the contestants, delivered a speech at the award ceremony.

The competition held by China Institute of Higher Education, is the only national one involving the teachers of engineering application technology in universities. The competition this time had five themes, including modern manufacturing, environment and new energy, automation systems, electronic information and electrical engineering and set sixteen contests. The competition promotes innovation on design and application, aiming to promote the cultivation of teacher talent team full of “outstanding engineers” who are skilled in both theory and practice.
