Four Scholars Have Been Selected on the List of “2016 global highly-cited scientists”

On November 16, Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters intellectual property and technology division) published the list of “2016 global highly-cited scientists”. The PhD student supervisors of control science and engineering in the department of aeronautics and astronautics at HIT-Gao Huijun, Wu Ligang, Zhang Lixian and Yinshen are all on the list.

The list of global high-cited scientists aims to reveal the most influential researchers around the world acknowledged by peers through citation analysis. The list of “2016 global highly-cited scientists” has selected more than 3000 researchers in 21 subjects or fields of ESI comprehensively, who have published the most highly-cited papers (papers whose citation influence ranked top 1 percent in the same subjects or fields in the same year) in relative subjects or fields during 11 years from the January 2004 to December 2014. The selection is made by the experts of bibliometrics of Clarivate Analytics by using the ESI database of the global advanced scientific research performance analysis platform(InCitesTM), and is a unique index of scientific research performance and source data of tendency of scientific development of the quantity of journal papers and citation data.
