On November 18, the first national university "Situation and Policy" Tour Teaching Demonstration was held in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Mrs. Gong Rumin, a young teacher in Marxist College of HIT wins the first prize through the demonstration with the theme of "Only when keeping to Socialism faithfully, can we move forward unswervingly".
The event is jointly organized by the Steering Committee of the Ideological and Political Theory Course of the Ministry of Education, the "Current Affairs Report" magazine of the Central Propaganda Department, and the Research Center of Ideological and Political Theory Courses of Universities. More than 50 "Situation and Policy" teachers from the university all over the country enter the final through the selections in their provinces and on the Internet. In the form of on-site teaching, the final selects 5 first prize, 10 second prize and 15 third prize.
It is reported that the first National University "Situation and Policy" Tour Teaching Demonstration is aimed to deepen the implementation of the "Ideological and Political Theory of Ordinary Colleges and Universities Construction System Innovation Plan" issued by the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Education. Besides, it is aimed at constantly strengthening the standardization of "Situation and Policy", effectively deepening its teaching reform, and developing a number of outstanding teachers, so as to vigorously introduce the the Party Central Committee’s new concepts and strategies of managing state affairs into teaching materials, into the classroom, into people’s mind.
