Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology (New Series) sponsored by Institute of Technology has been included in the second batch of journals of the “Plan of Promotion of International Influence of Chinese Science and Technology Journals” which was issued recently.
The “Plan of Promotion of International Influence of Chinese Science and Technology Journals” is in charge of six national departments and organizations, namely China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Chinese Academy of Science and Chinese Academy of Engineering. It is aimed to support the development of science and technology journals of high academic quality, high ranking in the discipline and large potential which can represent China’s cutting-edge and advanced disciplines or fill up a gap of certain disciplines in China in order to promote the internationalization of China’s science and technology journals, the international influence and competitiveness of science and technology English journals of China, and ultimately, the ability to serve the innovation of science and technology.
