On December 6th, Xuezi Supermarket of HIT - the counter from Jinxiu county of Guangxi for help and support with love officially opened. A large number of teachers and students came to buy native products, sending the greetings of HIT with practical actions to the people in Jiuxiu county thousands of miles away.

Also, he called on the majority of teachers and students to actively participate in the fixed-point work with practical actions, helping the Jinxiu country people out of poverty as soon as possible.

Actually, he is Li Dong, the vice dean of the School of Computing as well as the temporary vice head of the Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County. “The Yao costume can remind me that as a temporary cadre, I will take responsibilities for the county; I will defend the county and I will devote myself to the poverty alleviation work of the county, setting up the image of the people of HIT”, Li Dong said.

It is reported that since the Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County in the Laibin City, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was identified as the fixed-point national poverty county with help and support during the “13th Five-Year” Plan, our Party Committee has attached great importance to poverty alleviation. The committee established the leading group for the fixed-point work and signed the Agreement for Further Cooperation with Jinxiu county. The Agreement determines the Five Support Projects, including the personnel support, the technology support, the education support, the teaching support and the loving support, which will help Jinxiu county to win the battle of poverty alleviation. To carry out the requirement of setting up the HIT-Jinxiu counter for poverty alleviation products in the Agreement and help the Jinxiu people expand the sales channels, the Business Center of Logistics Group set up the HIT counter with Guangxi Jinxiu native products for help and support in the Xuezi Supermarket. With the coordination and support of our Labor Union, the heads of the Business Center conducted the field study in all the 10 towns of Jinxiu county and selected the green and pollution-free native products as the commodities for exhibition and sales in the counter. All the products are purchased from the local agricultural cooperatives and finally all the sales money will be returned to the cooperatives.
