On December the 3rd, the world hand in hand Chinese and foreign students’ art show, under the theme of “One Road and One Belt, One Family” took place in the school's auditorium. REN Nanqi, vice president of HIT and thousands of teachers and students watched the performance.
In order to broaden students' international horizon and build a platform for students from various countries to express themselves, since 2010 the School of International Education has annually held the world hand in hand Chinese and foreign students art show, aiming to make it the “spring festival gala” for all foreign students who study in HIT. The theme of this party is “One Road and One Belt, One Family”. As part of the cross-cultural exchange among Chinese and foreign students, the party invited the members of the Sino-Russia Engineering University Union, including the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) and the Far Eastern Federal University. These friendly colleges all participated in this party with huge enthusiasm.
The party started with the dancing, the Flower of Wisdom, presented by Chinese and foreign students. The party involved 3 distinctive chapters, namely the Pearl of the Silk Road, the Song of Youth and the Light of HIT. All shows were presented by both Chinese students and foreign students. There were exotic dance performances showing the connotation of “One Road and One Belt, One Family”. And there were talent shows demonstrating the foreign student's experience of studying in another country and striving for their bright futures. There were also impressive moments of activities such as the Light of Education Aid and the Victory Road, which all showed that Chinese and foreign students of HIT actively bear their social responsibilities, help each other and dare to strive for success... The entire party was active, with incessant applause, and all Chinese and foreign teachers and students appreciated it.
