Officials from Thai Education Ministry and Chinese Embassy to Thailand participated in the establishment ceremony. The School of Business of our university signed the school and enterprise personnel training cooperation memorandum respectively with Xinhua Agency (Thai branch) and Asian-pacific center station of International Broadcasting Station. School of International Education and School of Business of Harbin Institute of Technology and CCN signThailand is not only the initiative member of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, but also plays an important role in China’s “the Belt and Road” policy. It is the third largest source of international students for China. In the recent three years, the number of Thai students studying in HIT has been in top 5 in annual total number of international students. As we learned, HIT will continue to promote itself and its project of “studying abroad in China” to the world to make use of cooperation between the university and the company and establish the preparatory education and cultivation mechanism in order to develop the plan of “studying abroad in HIT.”

HIT School of Management, HIT School of International education, and CCN  signed to establish “the belt and road” think tank research center. In addition, Thailand office of Chinese Universities League was set up. We, as the member of the League, signed the letter of intent cooperation with nearly 40 secondary schools, and this laid a solid foundation for the preparatory course construction of our university. The education exhibition held at the same time attracted nearly 500 high school students and their parents to make the consultation.

While in Thailand, the School of International Education visited and signed the friendly cooperation agreement with Bangkok Wanbagu middle school. Bangkok Wanbagu middle school will organize their students learning Chinese to come here and visit, and at the same time, we will provide their teachers and students with opportunities of teaching counseling and cultural exchange.
