On March 9, Vice principal Ding Xuemei met He Liren, vice president of University of Hong Kong, in the administration building. They exchanged ideas extensively about talent cultivation and teaching programs.
Ding explained about our school’s talent training characteristics, education course teaching reform and the concept of curriculum construction, etc. He introduced the concept of running a school at the university of Hong Kong. The two sides agreed that the both schools have a lot of the same philosophy in education. Last year more than 300 students from the university of Hong Kong have visited Harbin institute of Technology. In the future, we should further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges related to scientific research, personnel training and other aspects. The two sides also discussed the reform of undergraduate education and cutting-edge issues.
Before the meeting, the delegation visited the HIT Museum and the campus.
