On the morning of June 9, HIT Education Development Fund Committee Memorial Medal Ceremony was held in the meeting room 626 in the Administration Building. Han Xiaoxing, chairman and president of Shen Zhen Baishan Venture Capital Co. Ltd, donated 1 million yuan to the HIT Education Development Fund Committee for establishing student scholarships for the School of Economics and Management and for developing management discipline. Wang Shuquan, secretary of the CPC Committee of HIT and chairman of HIT Education Development Fund Committee, issued the memorial medal, the memorial certificate and the Education Sacrifice prize to alumnus Han Xiaoxing.
During alumnus Han’s speech, he extended his thanks to the cultivation of HIT and his teachers. He said, all of his achievements now benefited from the reputation of HIT. As a student of HIT, he was honored to repay and help HIT develop in this way. The development of HIT would inspire him to forge forward and make greater progress.
Wang Shuquan shared his own educational experience, describing the influential effect on students of the positive school spirit, teaching style and study atmosphere. On behalf of HIT and the Education Development Fund Committee, Wang Shuquan expressed appreciation to alumnus Han Xiaoxing’s donation, hoping he continues to support HIT and pays attention to its development. HIT would support and help the development of each alumni.
