HIT Delegation Wins the First Prize of the National Undergraduate Engineering Training Integration Ability Competition (Machinery)

From June 9th to 11th, the final of 5th National Undergraduate Engineering Training Integration Ability Competition Shenyang (Machinery) is held in Shenyang Aerospace University. The HIT Delegation has won the first prize.

With the theme of “Independent Barrier Race of Carbon-free Car” , the competition has two  categories: “S-shaped” and “8-shaped”. A total of 103 teams from 79 universities enters the final. The competition also invites 10 international teams composed of 30 students from 18 countries. HIT engineering training center selects three undergraduate students——Zhang Quansheng, Zhao Chen and Shi Di) to form a delegation to participate in the “8-shaped” competition. Under the guidance of two teachers——Mr. Wang Xiaoxiang and Mr. Peng Bo, the team has won the first prize. The Competition awards 31 first prizes (16 of “S-shaped” project and 15 of “8-shaped” project), 31 second prizes and 41 third prizes.

National Undergraduate Engineering Training Integration Ability Competition is the National Science and Technology Innovation Competition for Undergraduates which is approved by the Ministry of Education as well as sponsored by the Higher Education Department. The competition includes the report review, the first round of the obstacle-crossing race, 3D design, 3D printing production, car dismounting, car debugging, the second round of obstacle-crossing race, on-site defense and so on.
