On September 29th, the Civil-Military Integration Technology and Collaborative Innovation Behavior competition, held in Chengdu gave awards. This competition was sponsored cooperatively by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Finance, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission, the Military Training Management Department, the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, and The People's Government of Sichuan Province. The research project, “Permanent Magnet Motor Used in Deep-sea Propulsions” won the Silver Award. This is the only Silver Award project among colleges and universities. The competition was ongoing for 5 months. 816 projects were submitted, with 120 being chosen for the finals. Also, “Infrared and Visible Dual-channel System for Forest Fire Monitoring,” from our school, won an Award of Merit.
The following distinguished leaders attended the award ceremony and visited the exhibition of excellent projects: LUO Wen, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, WANG Li, Vice Minister of Equipment Development Department of Central Military Commission, HUANG Rong, Vice Chairman of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, PENG Yuhang, Vice Governor of Sichuan province, and HAN Jiecai, Vice President of our school.
