From September 25th to 27th, the third China-Ukraine Forum of Science and Technology was held at HIT. Mr. Wang Song, the deputy director of the Department of Cultural and Educational Experts of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Vasily Malibini, the chairman of the Forum and an academician from the Technology Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Mr. Guo Bin, the executive chairman of the forum and the vice president of HIT attended the opening ceremony. Mr. An Shi, the vice president of HIT and Curtin Yuri, an academician from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine together unveiled the Joint Innovation Center of HIT - National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The China-Ukraine Forum of Science and Technology was founded in June 2015. Its purpose is to build a carrier for academic exchange between Chinese and Ukrainian scientists, and an open platform for technical personnel exchange, technical cooperation and accurate exchange. The forum is sponsored by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs P.R. of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of P.R. of China, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Technology Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It was hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology. Sixty Ukrainian academicians and experts and nearly 300 domestic experts and scholars from the aerospace, materials, machinery, energy, electronics and other fields conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions around the theme of “innovation and development, cooperation and win-win”.
During the forum, the related experts and scholars from HIT and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Technology Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkiv National V.N.Karazin University and Kiev National University cooperated in the exchange of new materials, new energy, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, agriculture technology and other fields.
