6 International Students Win 2017 National Excellent International Students Scholarship

Recently, China Scholarship Council announced the list of 2017 national excellent international students, and 6 HIT international students were selected.

The six international students, namely BACHIROU GUENE LOUGOU-doctor graduate from the Republic of Benin in the school of energy science and engineering, ABDELDJABAR BENRABAH-doctor graduate from People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in the school of engineering and automation, PHILIP ANTWI-doctor graduate from the Republic of Ghana in the school of municipal and environmental engineering, KIM MINJOO-undergraduate from South Korea in the school of chemistry and chemical engineering, MUMTAZ ALI HASAN-undergraduate from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the school of chemistry and chemical engineering, MULYANTO JOSHUA ADRIEL-undergraduate from the Republic of Indonesia in the school of civial engineering, studied hard and got good grades. In the meanwhile, they also actively engaged in various activities held by HIT and different schools. They were selected in the evaluation of international students who studied in China by their outstanding performances in different respects.

In recent years, HIT has focused on helping international students to excel in three areas, namely being skillful in the major and becoming a talent in the field, being skillful in Chinese language and culture and always holding HIT ideals, and being skillful in cross-cultural communication with international vision, and keeps making new progress in aspects including the number of international students, countries they are from, postgraduate and doctor rate and source structure of recruitment.
