From November 30 to December 2, vice president of HIT REN Nanqi and other 4 members visited University of California, Berkeley and University of California, Los Angeles as well as attended the founding ceremony of HIT alumni association of South California.
During the visit to University of California, Berkeley and University of California, Los Angeles, the delegation met with people in charge of the two universities respectively, discussed about the issues on cooperation in scientific research, personnel training and alumni, and visited relevant schools.
On December 2, the delegation attended the founding ceremony of HIT alumni association of South California in San Gabriel. CAO Qian-consular agent of education in consulate-general of China in Los Angeles, WU Tonghuai-alderman of West Covina and others attended the activity. As the representative of HIT and HIT general alumni association, REN Nanqi extended thanks to the alumni for their great efforts in the founding of this association and hoped that it could hold the original intention, shoulder responsibilities, try its best to expand the influence of HIT in South California and provide more services to the local alumni, and enhance the communication and exchanges both sides.
