HIT News (Ji Xuan Text/Picture) The finals of the first China University Computer Tournament’s Artificial Intelligence Creative Competition came to the end, and the award ceremony was held on October 27th. The teachers and students of HIT’s School of Computer Science have achieved great successes. Directed by Professor Zhang Yu, the "Poetry Sudoku", created by Le Yuan, Qi Le, and Shi Qi, won the first prize, and "Paper Memory" created by Yang Mingyang and Li Zifeng, won the second prize. Professor Zhang Yu was named excellent advisor of this competition.
The China University Computer Tournament’s Artificial Intelligence Creative Competition is sponsored by the University Computer Science Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the University Software Engineering Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the University Computer Science Course Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the National University Computer Science Education Research Association. The competition aims to cultivate students' comprehensive qualities of discovery, analysis, and problem solving in scenarios involving artificial intelligence, and enhance students' abilities of innovation and practical application. 1049 teams from 369 colleges and universities from home and abroad participated. After online review and expert review, 120 teams entered the quarter-finals and 37 teams entered the national finals.
