HIT NEWS ( Text/Photo Office of Global Affair of HIT/LIANG Yingshuang) Hou Yujie, assistant president of Harbin Institute of Technology(HIT), met with the deputy mayor of Markham,Alan Ho, and his entourage from Canada in Conference Room 101of the Administrative Building on the afternoon of January 6th.
At the outset，Hou Yujie gave his hearty welcome to Alan Ho and his entourages and introduced tohim the pattern and characteristics of HIT,that is, “One University,Three Campuses---Harbin Campus,Weihai Campus, and Shenzhen Campus”,hoping to establish the cooperation with Markham,Canada under the opportunity of the 100th anniversary of HIT.
Alan Ho expressed his honor to visit HIT and introduced the basics of Markham,Canada with the hope of collaborating in the training of talents,educational exchange, and other fields between HIT and Markham.
Relevant senior officials from the HIT International Cooperation Department, School of Architecture, and School Chemistry and Chemical Engineering participated in the meeting.
