Harbin Institute of Technology Newspaper (written by Yuan Siyang, photographed by publicity department) reported that, on the morning of January 8, in Conference Room 626 of the Administrative Building, Liu Yanhua, counselor of the State Council and former deputy minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, came to our university to investigate the situation of foreign cooperation. Ma Linying (former deputy director general of the Ministry of Science and Technology), Shi Zhaohui (deputy director general of the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province), Liu Hong (vice president), Fan Feng (assistant president), and Fu Qiang (dean of Heilongjiang Industrial Research Institute and president of HIT Institute of Science and Industrial Technology) attended the meeting. Liu Hong presided over the meeting.
Liu Yanhua pointed out that, through the investigation, we could further understand the fruitful results of Harbin Institute of Technology’s foreign cooperation. Additionally, the opinions and suggestions put forward by the school's teacher representatives were also very constructive. He will report the research results to relevant departments and turn them into applicablepolicies that can be realized.
At the meeting, Fan Hongbo, executive vice minister of theInternational Cooperation Department of our university, presented a work report and introduced the overall situation of our university's foreign cooperation. Teachers' representatives made speeches in turn. They gave a brief introduction to foreign cooperation experiences in their respective research fields and made some suggestions.
The Chinese Science Center of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the head of therelated departments of HITattended the symposium.
After the meeting, the participants visited the relevant laboratories of our university.
