HIT News (Foreign Affairs Text/Photo) - On September 18, the 24th Session of the Subcommittee on Science and Technology Cooperation of the Regular Meeting Between Chinese Premier and Russian Prime Minister was held via the Beijing-Moscow video link. Fan Feng, Assistant President of HIT and China’s Deputy Executive Director of the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities，was invited to attend the meeting in Beijing, and made a speech on the topic of “Strengthening Exchanges and Cooperation in Science and Technology between Chinese and Russian Universities” in combination with the latest construction and development achievements of ASRTU. After the meeting, the two sides jointly signed the “Protocol of the 24th Session of the Subcommittee on Science and Technology Cooperation of the Regular Meeting Between Chinese Premier and Russian Prime Minister”.
Under the agreement reached between the two parties, the 25th Session of the Subcommittee on Science and Technology Cooperation of the Regular Meeting of Chinese Premier and Russian Prime Minister will be held in Russia in 2021.
Huang Wei, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and Lui Lin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, co-chaired the meeting. Representatives from Russia and China attended the meeting online, along with relevant personnel from the Permanent Secretariat of China in ASRTU.
