Deng Zongquan, deputy director of the expert committee of the competition and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended and delivered speeches. After fierce competition, our school won 1 special prize, 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and 2 third prizes, as well as the Excellent Organization Award.

More than 500 students from 69 universities and research institutes including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University and Xi'an Jiaotong University competed in this competition. The competition mainly focuses on robotics and its applications, and is divided into three categories: simulation group, component group and integration group.

The entry "Variable Rigidity Flexible Joint Robotic Arm System Facing the Open Environment" from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the main campus won the special prize of the competition. The "Variable Rigidity Flexible Joint Robotic Arm System Facing Open Environment" studied in this work mainly solves the problems of insufficient intelligence in traditional industries, and has been widely used in rehabilitation training for the handicapped.

The "Bio-robot with Trajectory Tracking and Visual Obstacle Avoidance" for postgraduate students in Shenzhen Campus won the first prize of the competition. The entry "Jumping Lunar Rover" from the School of Aerospace in main campus, the entry "The Coaxial Vehicle with Controllable Rotor Axis Angle" and the "Metamorphic Series and Parallel Manipulator" from the School of Mechatronical Engineering won the second prize of the competition.
