HIT teachers and students participate in the 2020 Sino-Russian ASRTUForum- “Ecology and Environmental Sciences”

HIT News -- From October 21 to 22, 2020 Sino-Russian ASRTUForum- “Ecology and Environmental Sciences” was held online. On the afternoon of October 21, the forum held a cloud opening ceremony. Cui Shaochun, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Yekaterinburg, Viktor Koksharov, President of Ural Federal University, Sergei Korshunov, Russian executive director of Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU) and vice president of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and Fan Feng, Chinese Deputy Executive Director of ASRTU and assistant president, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

As one of the series of activities under the framework of “2020-2021 Sino-Russian Year of Scientific and Technological Innovation”, this forum is sponsored by ASRTU, undertaken by Ural Federal University, and co-organized by HIT and Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Nearly 100 experts and scholars from 15 colleges and universities of ASRTU members discussed many cutting-edge topics such asthe source apportionment and transmission characteristics of air pollutants, air quality control, ecosystem and community ecology, biodiversity protection, and urban sustainable development, etc. Feng Yujie, Dean of the School of Environment, Chen Chuan, director of the Department of Environmental Science, and Sun Kai, Professor of the Department of Environmental Science, delivered the keynote speech on behalf of Chinese universities. There are also 9 teachers and students of HIT to display academic posters in two sub forums of “Environmental Restoration Ecological Engineering” and “Industrial Ecology: Energy and Resource Conservation, Recycling and Waste Management Technology”.
