HIT participated in the opening ceremony of the touring exhibition under the theme of Connections with Hong Kong

HIT News (Office of Global Affairs / text)On October 29, at the invitation of the Liaison Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government in Liaoning Province, Assistant President Fan Feng attended the opening ceremony of the “Connections with Hong Kong” touring exhibition held in Harbin and delivered a speech.He introduced the basics of HIT's cooperation and exchange with universities and research institutes in Hong Kong over the years. He hoped that the various departments of the HKSAR Government would continue to increase connectivitywith HIT, deepen the cooperation relationship and expand the cooperation fields.

Liang Zhiren, Director of the Beijing LiaisonOffice of the HKSAR Government, briefed the basic information of the Beijing LiaisonOffice. He thanked HIT's “Small Satellite Scholar Program” and other exchange programs with Hong Kong for giving Hong Kong students the opportunity to understand Heilongjiang Province and HIT.

Through various forms—text, pictures, videos and interactive experiences, this exhibition shows Hong Kong's unique advantages in doing business and startingenterprises. It also demonstrates HK’s dynamic innovative characteristics, vitality in art and culture, and green and ecological livable environment.

Representatives of relevant provincial and municipal institutionscame to this opening ceremony and visited the exhibition. Besides, staff of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Offices of HIT participated in related activities.
