Academician Deng Zongquan is a well-known expert in the cutting-edge field of space mechanism in our country. He has long been engaged in the design theory and technology research of space mechanism and special robots, focusing on the extreme environmental adaptability and highly reliable service of mechanical systems. He has made important research achievements in the movement and transfer of planetary vehicles, the sampling and control of extraterrestrial objects, the space folding and unlocking mechanism, etc. He has made outstanding contributions to China's lunar exploration project, deep space exploration and other major national science and technology projects.
According to the provisions of the Heilongjiang Province Science and Technology Award Measures, with the approval of the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government, academician Deng Zongquan won the 2020 Heilongjiang Provincial Highest Science and Technology Award. At the same time, 278 nominated projects were awarded, of which 39 were awarded the first prize, 140 were awarded the second prize and 99 were awarded the third prize.
