Students of HIT won the NACTranS

HIT News (School of Transportation Science and Engineering /Text) - Recently, the finals of the 15th National Competition of Transport Science and Technology for Students (NACTranS) came to an end. The team from the School of Transportation Science and Engineering of HIT won the first prize for their work “‘FBG Knowing Water’ - Inner Cylinder Expansion Osmometer Based on Fiber Bragg Grating Technology” and “Design of Aural Cues for Passive Control Switching under L3 Automatic Driving”. The work "Two New Methods for Monitoring Dynamic Deflection of High-speed Railway Bridges" won the second prize.

It is reported that NACTranS, sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education for Transportation Major, is a science and technology competition for college students with the largest number of participating universities and students as well as the greatest social influence in the field of transportation in China, which has been included in the key event of "Research on Evaluation and Management System of College Competition" of the Higher Education Association. In this year's competition, 115 universities submitted 651 entries,among which a total of 150 entries were selected through the preliminary online evaluation for the final round.
