Issue: the 7th Swimming Competition
Aim: HIT hold the 7th swimming competition. This competition was organized by The Labor Union of HIT, The Sports Department of HIT and the Institute of Electromagnetic Drive and Control Technologies. This game will be beneficial for teachers’ and students’ health, relationship and their daily life.
There are these following events in this compition:
50m freestyle(male/female)
50m breaststroke(male/female)
50m backstroke(male/female)
50m butterfly(male/female)
100m breaststroke(male/female)
100m freestyle(male/female)
4×50m medley relay

On May 30th, the first Cloud Games was held online. There are 522 athletes participated the game in different place through the internet and led a new sports trend. The Labor Union of HIT and The Sports Department of HIT charged for it.
On June 7th, more than 10000 students and schoolfellows have participated the " Light of HIT", an online running championship. The Olympic skating champion, Zhang Hong, and, the world badminton champion, Chen Jin, led the running separately in Shanghai and Harbin. Zhang Hong and Chen Jin are both the couches of HIT now.
From October 1 to 4 (the vacation for the National Day and the Mid-Autumn Day), the students who stayed in school were playing a series of interesting sports games to enrich their vacation.
On November 22nd, the 9th"Healthy Youth" competition was held in the gymnasium of the first campus. Students were actively. the competition It was beneficial for students' physical and mental health, and show the spirit of youth.
Since this autumn semester, the Labor Union of HIT, the Sports Department of HIT and Youth League Committee have held a series of sports games, such as football games, basketball games, volleyball games, badminton, table tennis, billiards, etc. These games, with the theme of “Health First”, were joined by many students and teachers and won good reputations. It also motivated their enthusiasm in doing sports.
