Students of HIT Made Great Achievements in the Sunshine Swimming Competition for Chinese College Students

From June 17 to 19, with the theme of “Meet in Happy Chengdu”, the 3rd Sunshine Swimming Competition for Chinese College Students was held in Chengdu, China, which was organized by the Federation of University Sports of China and the Executive Committee of the FISU World University Games in Chengdu. Huang Yu, a junior from HIT School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, won the gold medal in men's 100m butterfly. Wu Wentao, a senior from HIT School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, won the silver medal in men's 100m freestyle and the bronze medal in men's 50m freestyle. Liu Zetong, a junior from HIT School of Electronics and Information Engineering, ranked seventh in women's 200m freestyle.
