From July 20th to 23rd, the 15th “SIEMENS Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge (Northeast Division II ) was held in HIT. Two teams of HIT won the first prize and the second prize respectively.
This competition is sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of Automation Specialty in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, SIEMENS (China) Co., Ltd, and China Simulation Federation, and organized by the School of Electrical Engineering of HIT. The competition aims to promote the construction of information and electronics majors and courses, guide colleges and universities to pay attention to cultivating college students' innovative ability and cooperative spirit in teaching, strengthen the cultivation of students' practical ability and engineering practice ability, and improve students' comprehensive ability of electronic design and production for practical problems. A total of 77 teams from 19 universities competed for the awards of discrete industry automation and discrete industry motion control.
Founded in 2006, “SIEMENS Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge is a national competition under the strategic cooperation framework of the Ministry of Education and SIEMENS (China) Co., Ltd, and it has become one of the most large-scale and influential student competitions in the field of intelligent manufacturing in China.
