A HIT delegation, led by Assistant President Fan Feng, has recently attended the 12th China-South Korea University Presidents’ Forum held in Changchun.
Representatives from 53 universities in China and South Korea participated in the forum both online and offline. Universities of the two countries exchanged ideas on the theme of “jointly delivering innovative scientific and technological talents with potential as future track blazers and building a scientific research cooperation platform that facilitates innovation”. In the forum, Fan Feng made a special report entitled “Stimulating the Cooperation between Industry, University and Research, and Improving the Quality of Development Imbued with Innovation”.
The forum is jointly organized by the Ministries of Education of China and South Korea. It has been successfully held 11 times since 2007. The forum provides valuable experience for China and South Korea in the development of education and for Northeast Asia in educational cooperation. It has become an important platform for the exchanges between China and South Korea in higher education
