Recently, the “half-day talk” on the international strategic cooperation between Harbin Institute of Technology and Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Russiawas was held online. Han Jiecai, president of HIT and Mikhail V. Gordin, president of Moscow Borman State Technical University attended the talk and delivered speeches on behalf of the two universities.
Han Jiecai said that HIT and Bauman have always been the closest brother, most loyal friend, and most important strategic partner to each other over the nearly 100 years of cooperation between the two universities. Both two sides have carried out multi-level and all-around cooperation in education and scientific researches. As an important part of the planning and construction of the Sino-Russian joint campus, HIT Baumann Institute of Technology should give full play to its role as a bridge, strive for innovation in the fields of high-level talent training, high-level scientific research cooperation, and academic exchanges, and constantly pursue excellence. He also hoped that the two universities will continue to work together to promote the construction of the Sino-Russia Engineering University Alliance, implement various tasks for next year, and continue to lead the scientific and cultural exchanges between Chinese and Russian universities in the post-epidemic era.
Golkin said the two universities have maintained close cooperation in such fields as aerospace, environment, and composite materials. Faced with the current severe challenges of global public health, he hoped that through regular online exchanges, the two sides will continue to innovate cooperation models, deepen cooperation contents, set higher goals in personnel training and academic innovation, and promote all-round high-level and high-quality cooperation and exchanges at all levels.
