Harbin Institute of Technology

The Shijian 26 satellite was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and entered its designated orbit on May 29. The satellite was jointly developed by the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Aerospace Dongfanghong, a subsidiary of the China Academy of Space Technology, and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

A research team led by Professor Zhang Hongtao from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai Campus) has developed China's first dual-transducer solid-state ultrasonic additive manufacturing (UAM) equipment.
