Four HIT projects win National Teaching Achievement Award

Recently, fourHIT projects won the 7thNational Teaching Achievement Award. The project “Build basic course for electronic research education, so as to cultivate better practice and innovation ability”of Professor WUJianqiang fromthe School of Electrical Engineering and Automationwas awarded first prize, the first time HIT has won first prize since 1993. In the ceremony for the 30th Teachers’ Day and the conveningassembly, Party and State leaders, XI Jinping, LI Keqiang, LIU Yunshan, and ZHANG Gaoli met the representatives of the winners in the Great Hall of the People. Professor WU Jianqiang accepted the award in Beijing.
 
 
The National Teaching Achievement Award, the National Prize for Natural Sciences, the State Technological Invention Award, and the Science and Technology Progress Award are the four great national awards. Given every four years, these awards are the most important and influential nationwide awards in China. There were946 submissionsin thecompetition of the 7th National Teaching Achievement Award. Two special prizes, 50 first prizes, and 400 second prizesweregiven.

Professor WU Jianqiang receives the award in Beijing
