Future Scientific Creators Workshop (HITFSCW)
The Future Scientific Creators Workshop at the Harbin Institute of Technology(HIT)is a one-week unique program at HIT aimed at developing creativity and offering the chance to experience innovative science and technology. It includes discussions on various topics, laboratory practices, project-based learning, and more to help students acquire new knowledge and skills. Additionally, through the Chinese cultural experience activities, we offer you the opportunity to experience and understand China's colorful traditions and history firsthand.
About HIT
It is a member of China's top nine university unions (C9) and has been designated as a National Key University with science and engineering as its core, with strong disciplines in management, liberal arts, economy, and law, among others. Often referred to as "thecradle of engineers", the university has many firsts. HIT established the first School of Astronautics in China. It was the first Chinese university to independently develop and launch small satellites (smallsats and microsats) into the moon's orbit. It was also the first to achieve satellite-groundlaser link communication.
Furthermore, HIT developed the first computer to play chess and talk with people as well as the first arc- and spot-welding robots. It was the first university to reveal the virulent factor of HIV. It was also the first university to achieve breakthroughs in supporting structure development for the largest radio telescopes. Additionally, HIT conducted the first human–machine in-orbit maintenance experiments on a space operator.

Main Activities at Future Scientific Creators Workshop
● Activity 1: Visit the HIT Museum to learn about the university's 100-year history and the Museum of Aeronautics at HIT to explore the achievements of aeronautics.
● Activity 2: The science and technology lectures by faculty members at HIT will put you at the forefront of China's scientific and technological innovation.
● Activity 3: Visit the National Key Laboratory for a better understanding of scientific development trends, explore the scientific frontiers of technology, and stimulate your interest in scientific research.
● Activity 4: Visit well-known enterprises in Heilongjiang, explore the development history of the top 500 Asian brands, and get an up-close look at the industrial culture and fighting spirit of Northeast China.
● Activity 5: Visit Harbin's beautiful scenic spots and experience the unique urban charm of Harbin.
● Activity 6: Explore the beauty and traditions of Chinese culture by starting a journey and immersing yourself in the beauty of intangible cultural heritage.

Note: The program has a minimum enrollment of 15 students.
