The Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) welcomed its 2025 class of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to campus on Aug 29.
This year’s orientation had many highlights. Reception points were set up at airports and train stations, where volunteers guided students and parents to free shuttle buses heading to campus. On campus, volunteers worked tirelessly to assist with registration and luggage, their red uniforms a symbol of enthusiasm and care.
HIT also launched a “green channel” to support students in need, providing care packages with daily necessities and vouchers to help them settle in smoothly. In addition, AI experience booths, interactive activities, and an “AI counselor” introduced students to the future of digital campus life.
